Before & After Care

Before your appointment: Arrive hydrated; avoid heavy meals right before. For body treatments such as Slimsage, please refrain from applying heavy lotions or self‑tanner on the day of your visit to ensure optimal results.

After your appointment: Continue hydrating and add light movement. Occasional increased urination is normal. Avoid exercise, exfoliants, hot showers or saunas, and direct sun exposure for 24–48 hours post‑treatment. I'll provide personalized aftercare instructions tailored to your skin and session.

Lymphatic Drainage (Slimsage) – Safety & Eligibility

This is a gentle, non‑invasive esthetic lymphatic treatment—not a massage. It supports lymph flow to help reduce puffiness, improve skin tone, and encourage circulation.

  • Who should wait or get clearance: active infection/fever; unmanaged heart, liver, or kidney conditions; history/risk of DVT/blood clots; currently in cancer treatment without oncologist/physician approval; recent procedures not yet cleared by your physician.
  • Post‑surgery clients: I can typically see you as soon as the next day after surgery with written clearance from your physician or surgeon. This includes post‑liposuction care. I'll keep the treatment very gentle and avoid any areas that are not cleared.

Need a clearance form? Email me to request the physician clearance form and I’ll send it for your provider to complete.

Slimsage Lymphatic Drainage – Results & Frequency

Jump‑start plan: I typically start clients at 2×/week for 4 sessions, then 1×/week for 2 sessions. From there, we transition to every other week and then monthly maintenance—adjusted to your goals, schedule, and how your body responds. During travel or high‑stress periods, weekly sessions can help manage puffiness.

Maintenance: Many clients book every 2–4 weeks; post‑surgery frequency always follows your physician’s guidance.

Facials – Results & Frequency

Most skin thrives on a 4–6 week rhythm. If we’re targeting a specific concern—like acne, hyperpigmentation, or barrier repair—or you’re following a custom treatment plan, I may recommend a short series closer together (for example, every 2–3 weeks) before moving to maintenance.

Is it painful? No—sessions are gentle and relaxing. Many clients doze off.

Facials & Products

Are your products oncology‑ and pregnancy‑considerate? Absolutely. I use KPS Essentials—an oncology‑safe, food‑grade skincare line developed with healing in mind. These holistic formulations are suitable for pregnancy, cancer recovery, and sensitive skin conditions.

Can I purchase the products used during my facial or treatment? Yes! All products used in your session are available for purchase directly through the spa. Please reach out if you'd like to restock or ask about your personalized recommendations—I'm happy to assist.
